Hyperion XP-1 Hydrogen Hypercar Revealed with Amazing Capabilities

 The Hyperion XP-1

This hydrogen-electric hypercar can do 60 mph (96 kmph) in just under 2.2 seconds. The top speed is measured to be above 221 mph (356 kph). After months of teasers, the debut is here.

The hydrogen fuel cell module generates electric power and there's a three-speed transmission & this is a 4WD vehicle that has a 1,016-mile (1,635-kilometer) range.

The design is highly focused on weight saving & aerodynamics. The XP-1 has a carbon-titanium monocoque chassis with a titanium-reinforced composting bodywork. The vehicle also stores its hydrogen in carbon fibre tanks. These innovations give it a kerb weight below 2,275 pounds (1,248 kilograms).

The most amazing feature of this XP-1 is its flying buttresses that run behind the doors. These pieces serve two purposes.

They are active aerodynamic elements that improve high-speed cornering. Also, they function as solar panels capable of changing positions to follow the trajectory of the sun.

The doors of the XP-1 are V-Wing doors inspired by the "Winged Victory of Samothrace."

The interior of the XP-1 is a high-tech place. Center console features a 98-inch curved screen with touch-free gesture controls. It also highlights a 134in glass canopy that gives a clear view of the outside.

The production of XP-1 will begin in 2022 & 300 of it will be produced.
