New Renault Espace is a 7-Seater SUV focused on Luxury
The Espace was first introduced in 1984. It was a groundbreaking product for the huge MPV demand in the market at that time.
The new Espace 6th generation is also an adaptation of the Espace MPV for the market demand for SUVs in the present day.
The new Espace is focused on luxury & fuel efficiency.
Nowadays, families don't expect just only space like a minivan but also a little bit of offroad capabilities like high ground clearance and a futuristic look and feel of the vehicle. that's why the demand for MPVs dropped during the last years and the 7-seater SUV market popped up.
Espace is a historical car which people have memories of it.
Renault admits that Espace loses its shape continuity via generations but keeps its key concept: roominess & modularity, which Espace has been popular in the automotive world.

We have talked more in-depth about Renault's new design style with Renault Austral.
At a glance, it looks like the Austral at once. Many argue that the Espace is a stretched version of the Austral. But the rectangular design of the rear windshield area distinguishes it as Espace.
In the interior, triangular design aspects give the car a timely sophisticated look & feel. The overall design is clean and simple looking with multiple colour tones and aluminium finishes instead of chrome and piano black accents.
Espace also comes with a panoramic sunroof with no structure underneath between B-pillars.
19-inch wheels come as standard and 20-inch alloys are also available.
The 'Esprit Alpine' Trim level is available for Espace.

The headlights come with LED matrix vision which constantly adapts the light beam to traffic and weather conditions.
Espace also features Harman Kardon sound systems integrating high-fidelity sound into the vehicle.
Open-R
The open-R link is the masterpiece of the cockpit. It's a combination of a dashboard instrument cluster, a Head-Up display and a vertical multimedia screen. It can get the driver's commands through touch and voice which comes with google automotive services including, integrated Google Maps, Google Play and Google Assistant.
