TRX stands for the offroad capability for every situation, according to the company. The company claims that the RAM 1500 TRX 2021 is the fastest, quickest & the most powerful road-legal production truck in the world.

Design

The design of this truck gives the TRX a massive personality. Design elements are rough & rigged. The company claims that the TRX is designed with the purpose to outperform than other trucks. 

The grille, hood & bumpers build on design inspirations from the rebel & Power Wagon are intended to provide more airflow for the engine. Even the RAM lettering has designed to let the airflow travel through it. The hood scoop supplies 50% of engines air intake.


The RAM TRX also features composite front fenders, new steel box outers & air curtains for maximum airflow & maximum Drag.

The front axles have shifted 20mm forward & the body is 8 inches wider than the RAM 1500 to settle 35in tires with 18x9in aluminium wheels with a Beadlock ready option.

The LED clearance lamps located in the hood scoop & fenders gives more emphasis on its personality.

TRX has an LED adaptive front lighting system that follows the steering as it turns.

Standard version includes front & rear four oversized tow hooks,

Dual 5in exhaust outlets, offroad side steps or factory-installed rock rails. Optional bed-mounted spare wheel carrier, RamBar, Beadlock-capable wheels, TRX hood & bedside graphics.

The company offers TRX in 6 colours, 

Bright White, Hydro Blue, Granite Crystal, Billet Silver, Diamond Black Crystal & Flame Red.

Interior

The interior has performance-inspired materials. The Red details & carbon fibre trims can add as optional.

The instrument panel has made of hand-wrapped leather, use of suede on the seats & new deeper side bolsters. Front seats have a PALS webbing on their backs. TRX also features an SRT-signature flat-bottom steering wheel with enhanced grips. 

The most distinctive feature is its paddle shifters as first time on a RAM truck. 

The centre console has a performance-oriented floor shifter, covered cup holder, wireless phone charger & phone holder.

TRX-specific transfer case switches, drive mode selector & launch control takes space of the rotary shifter knob making able to change the TRX at the touch of a finger than before.

Customers can personalize their TRX, with the centre-console badge highlights the engine, supercharger, horsepower, boost & vehicle VIN.

 

All TRX models have equipped with the Uconnect 4C 12in touchscreen including the first RAM pickup truck application of drive modes, performance & offroad pages. These pages show & save a whole bunch of data collected by the vehicle & more driver configurations. Also, an optional trailer reverses steer control knob, full-colour head-up display as firstly in a RAM truck & a digital rearview mirror.


The base price is $69,995 but, with the highest version with all added options, the total would be nearly $100,000
