What's Special About Aston Martin DBX

Aston Martin DBX Review

Aston Martin DBX

Aston Martin DBX is the first-ever offroader from Aston Martin. As it's so this new member to Aston family dares to change the Aston Martin history. This Aston Martin has focused on beauty, luxury and driving dynamics.

It is also the first vehicle from Aston Martin that has an all-wheel-drive system.

Even though it appears like a mid-size SUV, this is bigger than you think. As it is 5039m long, this is 4cm longer than the full-size Range Rover.

Design

DBX has the largest grill ever fitted to an Aston Martin and the biggest Aston Martin badge in its front.

Front air vents surrounded by LED day time running lamps which also function as signal lights.

The rear has a Duck-tail spoiler integrated to the rear design. Taillight also lies across the rear badge just like on the Aston Martin Vantage giving DBX a more Aston Martin heredity.

It also got functional rear exhaust fins with a massive appearance unlike other most SUVs on the market. Anyway, it gives a sportier feeling to the vehicle.

Functional air vents on its front door sides, flush door handles, Frameless windows & aerodynamic based design features gives DBX track driving sports car personality than an offroad vehicle.

22in alloy wheels offered as standard.

The interior is mostly filled with leather & soft-touch materials and some shared parts with Mercedes such as the infotainment system. But the GUI s from Aston Martin.

In an off-road situation, the Terrain+ system setts the differential, gearbox, clutch system for offroad conditions & the ride height to change by up to 95mm from lowest to the highest setting. The active all-wheel-drive system can variable torque distribution.

DBX has double-wishbone front suspension combined with a multi-link rear axle, as well as electronic adaptive damping for every wheel.

Combining with these features, the vehicle can manage its performance according to driving conditions electronically.

Approach & departure angles are pretty similar to Porsche Cayenne.

Hill descend control is also reliable.

This weighs about 2.2tons while it is made from aluminum.
