Pininfarina Battista Electric Hypercar Completes Its High-Speed Test

The Pininfarina Battista hypercar debuted in early 2019. However, this year has been anything but ordinary, though. A recent video by Pininfarina showed that they are completing its high-speed test program at the Nardó Technical Center in Italy.

These tests will be conducted to perfectly tune the car's drive mode software which includes five driving modes: Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa, and Carattere. The company will also focus on to tune its sounds to soothe the customers with the electric symphony of Battista. Those tests include the Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, the torque vectoring system and high-speed aerodynamics.

The Battista features four-electric motors for each wheel that make a total of 1,874 horsepower (1,397 kilowatts) and 2,300Nm of torque.

Pininfarina claims the car will reach 100 kmph in less than 2 seconds with a top speed of 350 kph (218 mph).
